Every year it seems that the holiday season arrives earlier and earlier.  If you know me, you know that I have a very strict rule when it comes to Christmas.  Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year, but the Christmas spirit does not arrive until Thansgiving day.  No Christmas decorations, no holiday music, no lights until after Thanksgiving.  When Santa goes rolling by at the end of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the season has begun.

This year I am reevaluating my stance.  For some reason, the holiday spirit is alive and well this year, very early.  I found myself listening to Christmas music on my drive to buy my daughter holiday dresses.  Jordyn couldn’t believe it – she has been well trained – but she has quickly adjusted.  So it seems that the Christmas trees may be going up this weekend.  I have given in.  I cannot fight the spirit.  I hope that everyone has a very happy holiday season!!!  Let the holiday shopping begin.

Well, I have finally done it.  After many years of debate, I have entered the blogosphere.  I have no idea what I will be writing about, though I am sure that it will involve my kids, life, advocacy, etc.  I only hope that it will be entertaining, informative or at the least worthwhile.  Either way, I am looking forward to the ride.
